Giribaldi Barbaresco

These grapes come from the vineyard Ceriano in the community of Novello at a height from 380-400 meters above the sea level. This ground varies in composition, with the base being that of marl-calcareous. The vineyard has a complete South exposure.
The vineyard is composed of Nebbiolo (Michet, Lampia and Rose) with Italian cloning material. The training system is Guyot with 5,500 plans per hectare.
Attractive cherry, plus and tobacco aromas and flavours get support from dense tannins in this pretty, yet well toned red, which still needs time for the tannins to soften, but shows harmony and a lingering afterstate of spice and minerals. Perfect with egg-fresh pasta, risotto, white nad red meat, game, venison and cheeses.
